What is lacking in public transport in Lvov (Lviv) is fully compensated by Lvov’s nightlife. Metro on Zelena street 14 is one of Lvov’s popular clubs and attracts a young energetic crowd. In the main dance hall Red Phone DJs spin mainly Euro Hit Parade, meanwhile on dance floor Bit-Beat Lvov’s youngsters shake their tails to R&B and hip hop. In dance floor Metro is reserved for techno and progressive cutting edge electronic music. If you do not feel like dancing you can always admire the drop dead gorgeous girls in Metro. Right next to Metro you will find Pozitiff (Zelena street 14). This lounge club has a stylish interior, comfortable sofas and a pleasant atmosphere. Each night in Pozitiff is devoted to a different music style like R&B, electro and house. Close to Metro is also Party bar Chocolate on Petrushevicha Square 2 where you can see lovely local ladies wiggling their hips to pop and R&B.

The girls in club Millennium, located just out of the centre on Chornovil Avenue 2,  are eye candy as well. Millennium is another Lvov’s nightlife legend and offers an impressive line-up of resident and guest DJs. This huge club which is opened every day of the week has many special theme nights like retro parties, strip shows and houses a casino and restaurant as well.

As you could guess from its name, Fashion Club (Pidkovu Square 1 close to the Wien Hotel) is a glitzy and flashy venue for the nouveau riche of Lvov. During the daytime and evening it is a fine restaurant and from 11.00 pm the disco starts. Fashion Club is an excellent people and especially glam queens-watching spot both day and night.

Club Leroy is an upscale club in Lvov where you can find a more mature crowd, especially compared to the young audience frequenting Metro. Magma on Szeroka street 3 is a favourite hangout of students in Lvov. Also popular with the Lvov’s students and party people is the Picasso situated in a former theatre on Zelena street 88. Picasso is one of Lvov’s longstanding nightlife legends and features excellent DJs, a bouncing crowd on the dance floor and an outgoing atmosphere. Before it transfers at night in to a full blown dance club, during the day Picasso operates as a cafe, serving a great variety of delicious meals. A popular club with young and fashionable crowd in Lvov is Zanzibar on Lypynskogo street 36. The disco is on the third floor of the complex that features mainly techno and house. On the second floor of Zanzibar you will find the hookah bar decorated in Arab style where you stretch out on the comfortable sofas and smoke water pipe (hookah) in a chilling atmosphere.

Dzyga Bar on Virmenska street 35 has a relaxing atmosphere and is a great venue to mingle with the artistic crowd. It is the most popular hangout of Lvov’s artists and creative people from the outdoor terrace provides a great view of the sun going down over the towers of the Armenian Cathedral.
